04/13/17 - Day 10 - Nashville, TN - Radnor Lake
Last day of work for a while. In the early evening I drove over to the Radnor Lake natural park explore for a bit. I've been lucky so far in that every where I've wanted to go after hours has been the opposite direction of rush hour traffic with is pretty nuts around here. Nashville must be growing by leaps and bounds because none of the roads looks like they were designed to accommodate as many cars as are using them around 5:30pm.
Radnor Lake is a pretty little nature reserve, meaning they don't want you meander through the countryside or do anything but basically walk the defined trails. They have a couple of relatively flat trails and a ridge line trail with a brief but quite steep climb. The ridge line trail is named after Albert Ganier, a noted civil engineer, historian, and ornithologist.

I came across quite a few critters while walking the ridge line and other trails.
Gray Heron

Barred Owl (a little hard to see, he's facing away)

Several deer

and about a million squirrels (not pictured).
Very pretty sunset to boot.
