07/27/17 - Day 115 - Chicago, IL - Last Day

Quick Update - besides getting ready to travel, I did a couple of last minute activities in the city. First, lunch at one of the largest (and only) combination grocery store, wine store, coffee shop, cafe, restaurant I've ever seen. Eataly is an Italian themed collection of all of aforementioned stores.  It's two full floors with four separate restaurants, coffee, ice cream, and a full grocery and wine section.  It's very expensive but interesting to walk around.  There's only two; the other is in New York City.

I visited one more brewery before leaving, Half Acre.  They had one of the nicer tap rooms but I didn't like any of their beers.

I offset my disappointment in that experience by visiting my favorite happy hour bar one more time, Remedy which is near the Bucktown neighborhood.  Any place with half price drinks will always get a thumbs up, especially if free drink coozies are offered.

Finally I watched the sunset from the front porch of my airbnb host house.  Thus far Chicago has swayed me most of all the cities I've visited.  The lakeside area is gorgeous, there are lots of distinct entertainment districts, all are reachable via bike and mass transit, and there's a huge volleyball scene.  I could see myself moving here.
